Philip Secondez, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Founder | Delta Strength & Rehab, LLC
Philip Secondez is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) serving clients across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. He specializes in helping active individuals overcome orthopedic injuries and chronic pain, return to high-level activity, and thrive with long-term performance in mind.
Philip brings deep expertise in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions — including rotator cuff injuries, lumbar disc herniations, knee osteoarthritis, patellofemoral pain syndrome, tendinopathies, and post-operative recovery (e.g., ACL reconstructions, meniscus repairs, labral surgeries, spinal decompressions, and joint replacements). Whether you're managing persistent shoulder pain, recovering from surgery, or navigating setbacks from an active lifestyle, Philip provides clear, actionable solutions built around your goals.
As a competitive powerlifter and USAPL podium finisher at the Washington State Championships, he understands the physical and psychological demands of performance. But his practice is not limited to athletes. He works with professionals, business owners, recreational lifters, runners, and parents — clients who value expert guidance, time efficiency, and a personalized path forward.
Philip earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology in 2020, and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University. In 2024, he became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist — a designation held by fewer than 800 clinicians statewide. This advanced certifcation reflects his deep expertise in orthopedic care and his drive to provide the highest level of treatment. Philip continues to pursue advanced mentorship in biomechanics, sports performance, and strength and conditioning to stay at the cutting edge of modern rehabilitation and performance therapy.
At Delta Strength & Rehab, his philosophy goes beyond quick fixes. Philip helps his clients move better, train smarter, and develop lifelong confidence in their bodies — without unnecessary appointments or generic programs. He believes in intelligent, individualized care that empowers you to reclaim your lifestyle.
Outside the clinic, Philip is a husband, father, and first-generation Filipino American. He enjoys photography, barbecuing, going to church, and spending quality time with his family — values that shape the relational, grounded care he brings to every client interaction.
At Delta Strength & Rehab, we believe that people deserve more than quick fixes, cookie-cutter rehab, and surface-level care. They deserve clarity, empowerment, and strength that lasts.
We believe in treating the whole person — not just the injury. Because behind every ache, setback, or movement issue is a real human being with goals, frustrations, fears, and a story worth understanding.
We believe that movement is powerful — not something to be feared, restricted, or over-medicalized. Pain is complex. It’s physical, yes — but also emotional, contextual, and deeply human. That’s why our approach is rooted in both science and empathy.
We believe that rehab and performance exist on the same continuum. Whether you're an injured lifter, a postpartum mom getting back to training, or a weekend warrior trying to stay in the game — your care should reflect your goals. You shouldn’t have to “just get by” when your real desire is to thrive.
We believe that strength is identity-shaping. We know what it feels like to lose that part of yourself — to feel stuck, limited, sidelined. That’s why we don’t just get people out of pain. We help them rebuild, reload, and rediscover what they’re capable of.
We believe in persistence in the pursuit of change. True transformation isn’t linear. It takes time, trust, and a willingness to meet people where they are — then challenge them to grow. We’re here for the long haul.
We believe in leading with integrity — in being the kind of provider who listens, who pays attention, and who genuinely cares. The kind who programs thoughtfully, communicates clearly, and never stops learning.
We believe in creating lifelong athletes — not just pain-free bodies. We want to foster confidence, competence, and a healthy relationship with movement that lasts for years, not just weeks.
And above all, we believe that faith, family, and community matter. Our work is grounded in those values — because strength built in isolation is never as meaningful as strength built together.
